Postdoctoral Associate Position open

Rutgers University, Department of Physics & Astronomy and BioMaPS Institute for Quantitative Biology.

Dr. Morozov invites applications from highly motivated individuals for a postdoctoral associate position in the area of computational and theoretical biological physics. Current research projects in Dr. Morozov's lab involve computational studies of chromatin structure and gene regulation, biophysical models of protein evolution, and predictions of protein-DNA interactions. The postdoctoral position is available for two years, with extension contingent upon research progress and funding. Interested candidates should have a Ph.D. in physics, astrophysics, computational biology and bioinformatics, or statistics. Working knowledge of C/C++, Perl, Python, or similar is preferred. Knowledge of biology, although not required, is a plus.
